Public-Speaking Skills

Students are given the opportunity to perform and proudly showcase their efforts via real-life debates and discussions, which help them boost their confidence in public speaking and self-expression.

What Students Say

“At first, I was quiet and didn’t enjoy the prospect of exposing myself to my classmates, but my instructor encouraged me to express myself, and I’ve become more confident and assertive despite restrictions over the Pandemic.”

- Ashley, Class of 2020

“A must-take class, which is probably why it is mandatory. Although I was already pretty confident to begin with, the rigor of core corriculum classes was perfect for expanding on my ability to create logical arguments, and the professor was both kind and encouraging.”

-David, Class of 2019
